There’s no fixed date for the campaign launch, which isn’t unusual given Kickstarter must approve each campaign, and yes, Lion Banner is taking these maps to crowdfunding. We’re expecting some in mid-May, if not before.
Also fixed are these maps – they’re physical, real, and the clue in the title “book”. I generally game in the theatre of the mind, so when it’s time for a battlemap on the table, like a BBEG battle, it’s great to have a dramatic map for the minis. A chunk book does that, and the ring-binding approach Lion Banner uses means these chunky books can lay flat.
Here’s what we know;
- A3 Size books – 11.7 in x 16.5 in
- Each map has a 1-inch grid
- Created with high-quality laminated material
- They can be used with a dry-erase marker
